For My Kids, LLC

With the way the environment is, being green is a major thing these days. When we started potty training I realized what a pain going potty in public places can be. Trying to hold your toddler to the sink and have her wash her hands while not touching any other dirty surface is pretty impossible.

For My Kids has some great environmentially safe products for you. Some of the products they offer are a antibacterial disinfectant called Vinegar of the Four Thieves, an All Natural Hand Wash, a Vegan Lip Balm, a face cream, an insect repellant, and their For My Kids Comfrey Salve used for minor cuts, burns and bug bites.

As I mentioned before since we are potty training I wanted to try the All Natural Hand Wash. I really like this stuff. Not only because I know that it is safe for Haylee to use but it also has a lovely lavander scent.

For My Kids All Natural Hand Wash has diluted Witch Hazel extract in it which is what makes it great as a anti-bacterial spray for your hands.

I found that for Haylee's small hands one little spray and telling her to rub rub rub was all that was needed to clean away the germs. For my hand, I used two sprays.

I now feel safe that when Haylee yells "pee pee mommy" at the store, we will walk out of the bathroom with clean hands!

  6. I have their insect repellent, btw - it works awesome on my baby boy; he didn't get bitten by a single mosquito when wearing it.

"Household cleaners . . . persist in the blood and make their way into women's breast milk. Scientists and advocacy groups admit we don’t know for sure how bad these are for you. Human tests have never been conducted on most of the 18,000 chemicals produced each year. But evidence is mounting. Some of the worst chemicals have already been banned, and states are looking at stricter regulations for others. Many of these toxins are lurking just behind your front door.”

  26. I think the most important thing is natural product use is the best for the environment and your child. No harsh chemicals for them to ingest into their poor little stomachs. I worry a lot about that with my two year-old daughter. There is so much crap out there.

  27. These same toxins are responsible for spurring many children’s immune systems into overdrive, provoking maladies from asthma, eczema and allergies to autism and ADHD. It is no wonder that there is so many kids with all these conditions due to all the chemicals we use --- we all need to use products that are natural. Thanks for the website and for the contest.

As this is the beginning of breast cancer awareness month I felt the follow quote was appropriate and clearly states why we must stop mindlessly poisoning ourselves and our children.
"We will not be able to reduce the risk of breast cancer without addressing preventable causes, particularly exposure to chemicals."

Using safe alternatives to harsh chemicals is one way to reduce the risk of many types of cancers.

    Take care, Amy
