Butterfly hat

Every year about this time I really get into crocheting. Last year I became obsessed with making slipper socks. They were the first thing that I really completed and I was so proud of myself.

This year, with having a 3 year old and a 3 month old the only time I get to work on things are when both kids are napping. I ran across this pattern the other day and thought I'd give it a try. It went SO quick. I literally got it finished in about 30-45 minutes just in time for Haylee, the 3 year old, to wake up and try it on.

If you are a beginner and would like to try a super easy and fast pattern I really suggest trying this out.

Figuring something out...

I have decided to take my blogging a new direction. Since I have a newborn on the way I am never going to find time to type my reviews. My idea is to do little tiny typed reviews and v-blog the rest. Now, I just need to figure out how to use my webcam to record my reviews. I have a ton of things to review and I have been collecting since December I just need to motivation to kick me in the butt!

I may start to motivation process by making myself a new layout, I'm not sure yet. But please keep checking back because I promise I'll be back!

Rock and a hard place....

Ever feel like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place?! That is exactly where I feel I am right now. I have a big decision to make and no matter which I make it's going to piss someone off. I just want to do the right thing. I guess by the right thing I mean what will be right for ME in the future. I need to be selfish right now and just stand up for what I want. That is so hard to do when you have spent so many years of your life as a people pleaser. I can't please everyone this time and it's upsetting. 

I guess what I'm going to do right now is just throw my hands in the air, step back, and figure out what I need to do. 

We have a new family member

We have offically become the mommy and daddy to our fur-princess Bella!! She is a 7mo old Yorkie/Beagle mix and is a delight to have around. She is crate trained already so she sleeps in her box at night, and for the most part is potty trained. We have only had one accident! 

She is very playful and her and Haylee get along awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better puppy.
