Kumon Publishing

new posts below
this post will remain at top until giveaway is over

I was contacted by a great publishing compay to review some of their kids workbooks. Although Haylee will only be 2 next month it is NEVER too early to start teaching her things so I jumped at the chance.

Kumon Publishing has many great things to help your child learn. One of the big item are workbooks that focus on Pre-K through Grade schoolers.

Pre-K kiddos can learn to trace, do mazes, cut and paste, and even do puzzles.

Here is a sample page of the tracing book.

Other items they offer are Tub Time Posters of body parts, the ABC's and even Zoo Animals.

Since we are in the middle of teaching Haylee her colors I thought that My Book of Coloring At The Zoo would be perfect for her. What it does is give kids the chance to complete the missing piece of the page by picking the correct color and also asks kids to use a certain color and go though an animal maze. We tried this tonight and Haylee loved it. This will be a WONDERFUL learning tool in teaching her colors.

Check out their site to see all the wonderful teaching aids they have available.

  2. My daughter would definitely benefit from the maze books. She loves doing those types of books, and the ones that are actually centered around a theme like "around the world" would be great for the subliminal learning :)

  10. I really like the idea of "Let's Cut Paper" for my little guy. In the past I've read articles about how early stimulation and development of fine motor skills can really aid in the development of neural pathways, and I think this book targets that development really nicely (and not to mention the fact that ALL little ones are just dying to get their hands on a pair of scissors!). I would also want the follow up of "More lets cut paper" to help further hone his skills.
Great giveaway, I think everyone with children could benefit!

  11. Oh wow..these ALL look great! My daughter is starting pre-school and I think almost all of the pre-k books would be great for her! She loves doing mazes right now, as well as paper 'projects' as we call them at our house. So, she would LOVE any of the maze books, or the cutting and pasting or the Easy Crafts books.
