BOCA BETH

I found this really great company called BOCA BETH. They specialize in helping you introduce your child to Spanish.


Beth Butler the creator was nice enough to send me one of her CD's called "My First Songs In Spanish". What I really like about it is she uses well known melodies and just puts new words to them. I think this is a great idea. Some of the melodies that she uses are Frere Jacques, Farmer In the Dell, Skip To My Lou, If You're Happy and You Know It, and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. I think this makes it so much easier to learn since you only have to learn new lyrics, not melodies too.




BOCA BETH's songs have great lessons. They teach your little ones how to count in Spanish, how to say their colors in Spanish, how to greet people, the days of the week, and how to be polite by saying please and thank you! I think one of my favorite features of the CD is that they don't just sing in Spanish leaving you guessing what they are saying, they will say a phrase in Spanish and then sing the same phrase in English. I think it really helps the learning process for your kids...and yourself!

Some other products that BOCA BETH offers are a variety of DVD's, Coloring and Activity books, Puppets and Musical Instruments, and of course many other CD's. BOCA BETH has put together a few sets of products to help you teach your child. Using all the products in the set together will not only provide your child with fun but also help educate them.

I am sitting here listening to the CD as I type this and my daughter just ran in with the very cute maraca that Beth had sent her shaking it, dancing and pretending she is singing!!
